Enjoy a classic Italian favourite with our Diplomatico Cake. Delicate layers of flaky puff pastry, light sponge cake, silky vanilla custard, and rich chocolate custard come together in a beautifully balanced dessert that's light, creamy, and full of texture. Finished with a smooth chocolate drip, it's an elegant cake that's perfect for birthdays, celebrations, or simply sharing with family and friends.
This cake is 3" high and available in a square shape (1/2 slab and full slab sizes are rectangular). It features one layer of vanilla custard cream and one layer of chocolate custard cream between delicate puff pastry and sponge cake.

3/4 Slab = 14" X 14"

Please Note:
- For the best flavour, texture, and presentation, we recommend enjoying our the diplomatico cake on the day of pickup or delivery. After approximately 12 hours, the delicate layers of sfoglia may naturally soften or crack, which can affect the cake's texture and appearance. While the cake remains perfectly safe to enjoy, it is best consumed within 2–3 days of purchase.
- This cake will be made with nuts and alcohol syrup, unless the nut-free and/or alcohol-free preferences are selected.

My 60th birthday was made even more special with this cake! Gorgeous mauve/lilac colour, amazing taste! Great all around! I added gold candles and it looked amazing! Guests loved it!!! We all did!

I was very disappointed as the picture on the cake become all cracked
We are pick up at Friday 5 pm and parry was at 1pm Saturday and cake was stay at the fridge , but when we are open at Saturday it was look like disaster. all top was cracked. we was so were disappointed.
You guys, should add same stabilization , that cream not cracked over 1 night..

Truly the best cake I’ve ever had. Not too sweet but light and delicious with great texture. Will be ordering again!!
I got the large square and it made a great impression visually. I did expect more layers of pastry other than 2. The flavour was all cream and custard. Not terrible bit not great. Also quickly loses its shape.
